SE RECOMIENDA ESPECIAL PRECAUCION EN LA CUSTODIA DEL PASAPORTE YA QUE SON FRECUENTES LOS ROBOS Y PERDIDAS DEL MISMO. Zonas de riesgo (deben ser evitadas): En la región occidental de Cachemira (norte de India) actúan diversos grupos terroristas y paramilitares que realizan atentados discriminatorios y operaciones de guerrilla y que en diversas ocasiones han secuestrado o asesinado a turistas rehenes extranjeros. Los lugares de especial peligrosidad son : valle de Cachemira (Srinagar), región de Zanskar (Kargil), región de Jammu, y zona fronteriza con Pakistán. Tras los atentados perpetrados en los últimos meses deben incluirse también entre las zonas de alta peligrosidad los Estados de Assam, Tripura y Manipur. Zonas de riesgo medio (visitas con ciertas precauciones): Existen problemas de seguridad en lugares de los Estados de Tamil Nadu (actividad de grupos terroristas y controles de policía), Bihar (elevado índice de delincuencia). Zona sin problemas: Los lugares con mayor afluencia turística (Delhi, Bombay, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Goa, Kerala...) son relativamente seguros. |

You are advised against all travel to Putumayo , Arauca , Nariño Caqueta, Guaviare and Norte de Santander departments, and to rural areas of Sucre , Bolivar, Choco, Antioquia, Valle de Cauca, Cauca and Huila departments. You are also advised against all travel to the southern parts of Meta department and to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (including the " Lost City "). There is a high risk to your personal safety in these areas.
There has been a recent escalation of terrorist acts in Cali since November 19, 2006 , with the detonation of several explosive devices. Additionally, although no specific incidents have occurred to date, and no specific threats have been made, there is a concern that the security situation in Medellin may also face a similar deterioration. Tourists living in or planning to travel to these two cities should exercise extra caution and follow the security advice of local authorities.

El nivel de seguridad en las ciudades canadienses es muy alto. Sin embargo, como en cualquier centro urbano, se producen robos en domicilios y de coches en las grandes ciudades (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver y Ottawa), en las que existen barrios a evitar.
Zona de riesgo (deben ser evitadas): Depende de cada ciudad. En Toronto, el barrio de Malvern. En Vancouver evitar China Town en la parte Este de la ciudad, zona muy degradada con mucha gente viviendo en las calles.
Zona de riesgo medio: En Ottawa conviene circular con cuidado por la noche por las zonas de Vanier, Downtown y South Keys.
Zona sin problemas: Todas en general, salvo las excepciones mencionadas más arriba.
