The Fraser CanyonThe Fraser Canyon is a part of the Fraser River where it flows rapidly through rocks in the Coast Mountains on the way from the Interior Plateau of British Columbia to the Fraser Valley. Squilax General StoreThe historic Squilax General Store, the hostel sits on Shuswap Lake, one of the province's most popular summer vacation destinations for swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and hiking. The hostel features three converted Canadian National Cabooses (rail cars) as sleeping quarters. Organic grocery store on site. Tenting also available. Hostel pets on site.
